East Lake

East Lake is home to more than just the PGA Tour Championship, as the easternmost Atlanta neighborhood, just on the other side of Kirkwood- East Lake has a lot to offer. With the formation of the Athletic Club in 1898 that would eventually become the East Lake Golf Club, this community has deep roots. Now home to a diverse mix of families that began to take firm hold in the mid 1990's with the formation of The Villages of East Lake; property values in this famously-named enclave have risen to become commensurate with other intown communities. More modest home sizes are what East Lake is all about- from bungalows, to ranches and duplexes- there is a lot of charm here.
