Cabbagetown is a historic neighborhood on the Eastside of town adjacent to Inman Park, Reynoldstown and Grant Park. It was originally built for the workers of The Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. The narrow streets are lined with modest shotgun and historic mill style homes from the late 1800's. Cabbagetown has always enjoyed a cult following of musicians and artist that have revitalized these homes with tasteful style and an eye toward design. Just cross through the Krog Tunnel and you will know that you are entering one of the hippest and most eclectic neighborhoods that Atlanta has to offer. This little pocket neighborhood is packed with green space-- Esther Peachy Lefevre Park, Cabbagetown park and Historic Oakland Cemetery as well as the Beltline Eastside trail. The Beltline and the Memorial Drive Retail Corridor has brought Cabbagetown to the attention of the masses.
